The 962-128-FA fixture is one of RTI’s many standardized and compact test fixtures for performing failure analysis on packaged devices. It consists of a dedicated PCB containing a RTI 900-1133 or 900-1141 series FA socket, 14 banana jacks and optional DB 25, header pins, and a wiring matrix to enable any pin of the DUT to be wired to any pin of the DB 25 or any of the banana jacks. The fixture is designed to be used for both back side and top side test of the DUT. Heaters are available to allow either the top or the bottom of the DUT to be heated. A RTI temperature controller is required for temperature testing.
- Each device pin can be wired to a DB 25 or one of 14 different banana jacks.
- Top or bottom of DUT can be heated with optional heater.
- Back side and Top side testing for both standard and custom packages up to 128 pins.
Heated Options (for most fixtures using the 1133 sockets)
Heated fixtures have a heating element and temperature-sensing device (RTD or Thermistor) built into the mini card assembly or the lid. An RTI temperature controller is required for operation.
