Semi-Custom Socket: A modified standard test socket body designed to accommodate more specific test requirements. Typical modifications include drilling for irregular pitch, pad size, through hole and heated technologies, and milled areas under socket body allowing for clearance of on-board circuitry.

Lid Style 3 - Dual Latch Push Down Clam Shell Similar to the 901-1002 (above), RTI's dual latch push down clam shell lids are perfect for quick package switching. The socket lid connects directly to the socket base using two screws, and the clip on lid travels a small vertical distance before latching shut. |

Lid Style 4 - FA Adjustable Clip On Open Top RTI's low profile adjustable FA clip on open top lid is similar to the dual latch clip on, but offers an adjustable pressure plate and an open top. These lids are designed specific to the package dimensions. |
