208 QFP Back-Side Test Adaptor: This adapter was designed to allow backside testing of a 208-pin QFP package while on an applications board. The application board had been previously assembled with a QFP socket. The adaptor assembly consists of two parts. The bottom of the bottom adaptor assembly has QFP leads that allow it to be inserted into the QFP socket on the applications board. The top has pogo pins that allow it to make contact to the PCB on the top assembly. The top adaptor assembly has a QFP socket with the center open. The DUT is inserted into the top socket and the top assembly turned up side?down and placed on the bottom adaptor assembly. The printed circuit boards mirror images the pin-outs. The test setup can then be used for backside emission testing of the DUT while on the original applications board. |
