Remote Docking Fixtures

RTI offers a variety of remote docking fixture to interface your DUT with the test equipment. It offers easier access, and allows for remote testing under a microscope interfaces including our Standard OctaPogo© series with interchangeable alignment plates to third party 96, 384, 512, 768 and more pin fixtures. RTI has developed many complete remote docking solutions, including everything required to interface popular third party test systems.

These solutions are semi-custom, meaning we can modify any of them to meet your specific requirements. In most cases these solutions interface to RTI's standard daughter cards and sockets and work with RTI's Curve Trace family.

We are continuously adding new solutions, so please call to see if we have already designed an interface solution for your specific requirement. If you are looking for a fixture that is not displayed let us know and we will work with you to build an interface for your equipment!

RTI Keithley Remote Docking Interface

Keithley
RTI can produce a remote docking fixture for a Keithly switch matrix. It is designed to interface through interchangeable daughter cards that can be used for Kelvin testing. Programming headers are supplied upon request to enable additional connections and measurement points.

RTI Octapogo remote docking interface
RTI Octapogo docking fixture
OctaPogo© Series
The OctaPogo© remote docking fixture is designed to interface with the RTI Curve Trace system and other FA & Engineering test equipment. RTI has designed many DUT/daughter boards for this docking fixture. It uses arrays of pogo pin blocks and can test devices with up to 1152 pins. The distance of the ribbon cables can range from 1-8 feet.

D10-768-S-XX Interface Fixture

This solution allows the Credence D10 test system to be used for remote testing under a probe station, in a black box, EMI, and other remote locations from the Credence D10. All 768 digital channels, power supplies, and DUBU signals are available from the Credence D10 test system. Power supplies are brought out to high current connectors. The interface between the Credence D10 test system and a remote fixture is through controlled impedance ribbon cables. High performance pogo pin blocks interface the cables to the Interface PCB. The Interface Fixture is designed to also interface to RTI’s D10-768-DS docking fixture described below. This fixture is available in 96 channel increments and is field Upgradeable.

The D10-768-DS Docking Fixture is designed to sit on a wafer chuck for probing or upside down on an EMI system. Daughter cards (DUT boards) are 6.5 x 8.0 inches. The daughter cards interface directly to the pogo pin cables, enabling very high performance. Loop-back boards are available for system set up and test.

RTI Interface to HiLevel Test System

710-512-S Interface Fixture

This solution allows the HILEVEL test system to be used for remote testing under a probe station, in a black box, EMI, and other remote locations from the HILEVEL. All 512 channels are available from the HILEVEL test system. Power supplies are brought out to high current banana jacks. The interface between the HILEVEL test system and a remote fixture is through controlled impedance ribbon cables. High performance pogo pin blocks interface the cables to the Interface PCB. The 710-512-S Interface Fixture is designed to also interface to RTI’s730-512-DS docking fixture described below.

The 730-512-DS Docking Fixture is designed to sit on a wafer chuck for probing or upside down on an EMI system. Daughter cards (DUT boards) are 6.5 x 8.0 inches. The daughter cards interface directly to the pogo pin cables. Loop-back boards are available for system set up and test. The HILEVEL interface DUT board plugs directly into the HILEVEL test system. The handles on the DUT board make removal from the test system easier.
