RTI presents a custom array socket and array panel for burn-in and functional testing. 3 tooling holes in the corners of the socket prevent misinsertion of the device under test and ensure optimal alignment. Array socket is composed of stainless steel components to compensate for high closing force. The socket includes a backing plate to support the backside and prevent the PCB from flexing. Array socket may be compression mounted on any PCB that may be designed for burn-in or functional test capabilities.

Socket lid is similar to RTI’s FA open top lid but with multiple openings. Steel lid enhances thermal transfer both in and out of the device.

PCB is configurable through select power rails by routed banana jacks. Individual site configuration keeps one board design for many test configurations.
