RTI does not manufacture pogo pins. We work with a variety of pin suppliers and have the ability to source pins or have custom pins designed if not on the market. If you have specific performance requirements, contact us and we can provide electrical data on our pogo pins.

Pin Blocks as Connector Savers
RTI’s pogo pin blocks can be designed to interface with many industry-standard board-to-board connectors. The constant act of mating and unmating a connector during tests can cause significant wear and reduce the reliability of the connection. Pin block connector savers preserve the life span of the connectors. Replacing a degrading connector saver is easier and less costly than an entire board.

The connector on a board under test makes an accurate and consistent alignment to the pin block connector saver in two ways. First, the entire pin block “floats” independent of the test fixture. This allows for the pogo block to meet the connector during insertion while the board maintains precise alignment to other test points. Second, the cavity of the pogo pin block has sloped walls that help guide the actual connector onto the pogo pins. RTI’s pogo pin blocks can accept connectors with as small as 0.4mm pitch and include milled out areas to accommodate other surface-mounted components directly around the connector.
