REMOTE DOCKING FIXTURES

Remote docking fixtures are cable-based interface solutions that sit between your test system and DUT board for added flexibility in your test configurations. Test your DUTs on the bench, under a scope, or within a chamber independent from your existing test systems.

REMOTE DOCKING DESIGN

Remote docking fixtures include an interface board designed to mate directly with your existing tester, a series of wrapped ribbon cables at your specified length, and a DUT board that includes the test socket. The entire assembly acts as an extension of your test head. Design a remote docking fixture to meet your test requirements and applications. We have various designs and can create new designs to suit your needs.

Design Remote Docking Fixtures to Your Needs

Remote docking fixtures are ideal for failure analysis labs and are an instrumental fault localization tool. Our fixtures offer easy access and allow for testing under microscopes or environmental chambers with their low-profile architecture.

ATE Compatibility

RTI offers cable-based load board interfaces for many popular ATE test heads and provides extended mobility during tests. The remote test head connects to the load board interface using a series of ribbon cables allowing it to be positioned up to 10ft away from the tester, on a bench, or under inspection tools. Our remote docking fixtures are compatible with many systems including Credence D-10 and HiLevel ETS Series. We can create a remote docking fixture for nearly any tester. RTI’s high-speed, controlled impedance cable system comes shielded or wrapped at custom lengths to cover the distance between the ATE test system and remote docking interface. Using a series of mating connectors allows each cable assembly to be easily removed for debugging, service or replacement.

Curve Trace Compatibility

Remote docking solutions for curve trace systems

If you have RTI’s curve tracers as your test system, we also provide remote docking options for all systems. Our most popular curve tracer is the MultiTrace which tests up to 625 pins with the typical PGA interface or 1152 pins with the Octopogo interface. The Octopogo interface is also compatible with various test sockets, fixtures, cables, and connectors, giving you broad abilities to test small or large devices, packages, or units.

We are continuously adding new solutions, so please call to see if we have already designed an interface solution for your specific requirement. If you are looking for a fixture that is not mentioned here just let us know and we will work with you to build an interface for your equipment.

    MORE FIXTURE SOLUTIONS

    PCB Test Fixtures

High-performance at a compact scale, our PCB test fixtures are built for singular and panelized PCB testing. Fixtures align and contact test points on your UUT(s) then route signals out to connectors of your choice.

    Mechanical Test Press Fixtures

Manual or pneumatic presses for PCB, hybrid module, and device-level testing. Single-site or multi-site configurations offer rapid device loading and unloading. Test Presses ensure evenly distributed vertical compression force is applied to the UUT.

    Customization

When a more customized test solution is required to meet your applications, device(s) and requirements. For PCB-based subassemblies and complex components.

    950 Series Test Fixture

950 Series is capable of testing topside and backside, including micro-probing, backside emission microscopy, heated sockets for temperature testing, and curve tracing.

    Remote Docking

Cable based interfaces that sit between your tester and your DUT board allowing you greater flexibility in where your DUT sits on your bench. Ideal for failure analysis, fault localization, or for use under a microscope.

    custom pogo pin blocks

    Pogo Pin Blocks

Breakout test fixtures typically include a test socket and DUT board that route signals from your DUT to a connector or interface of choice. Transform your dedicated DUT board into a universal motherboard-daughterboard solution with pogo pin blocks that provide a board to board interface.

    QUALITY GUARANTEE

Robson Technologies, Inc. interconnects, fixtures and systems are carefully designed, manufactured, inspected, and individually tested prior to shipment. In the unlikely case you find a defect in materials or workmanship, we will promptly repair or replace the component.
